This policy explains what the Next Generation Logic (NGL) platform collects when you use it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the platform: visitors who browse the site, consumers who purchase a single valuation report, and licensed real estate professionals who use it in their business. It works alongside our Terms of Use.
It covers two groups of people. People who use NGL: visitors, consumers, and professionals, whose information we collect directly. Property owners whose public records and, in some products, contact information appear in results we show to subscribers; they have no account with us. Their rights are described in the property owner sections below.
This app and its reports are provided by Next Generation Logic, L.P. What we collect
When you create an account or run a valuation, we may collect:
- Account identifiers: name, email, tenant affiliation, and session credentials used to authenticate you.
- Property inputs: addresses, parcel references, and property characteristics you submit for analysis.
- Purchaser contact: name and email (required on a consumer purchase) and the property address you submit. We collect a phone number only where a form asks for it, and we call or text it for marketing only with the separate consent described below.
- Listing-broker identity: name, phone, and email a listing broker published on a for-sale listing (Land Pulse actives and, when present, a listed CMA subject). This is professional contact the broker posted, not owner skip-trace, and it is collected in every state.
- Owner skip-trace (paid Land Pulse Contact Tracer only): a licensed provider’s best-available phone and/or email for a parcel you selected. People only. Numbers on the Do-Not-Call registry are withheld and never shown. Not offered when the owner mails in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Vermont.
- Property location: normalized address and map coordinates derived from the property address you type. We do not collect your device’s location.
- Run history: valuation outputs, confidence scores, comparable selections, and audit metadata needed to reproduce deliverables.
- Usage logs: timestamps, feature usage, and error diagnostics for support, billing, and quality assurance.
- Notification token (NGL Tools iPhone app only): if you turn on notifications, the push token Apple assigns to the app on your phone. We use it only to tell you when a report is ready. It is removed when you sign out or delete your account, and you can turn notifications off anytime in the iPhone Settings app. We do not collect your phone's advertising identifier.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, security, and remembering your preferences. These are functional. The platform does not work without them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics, where used, measure feature usage in aggregate. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; blocking functional cookies will prevent sign-in.
How we use your data
- Generate and store the deliverables you request.
- Authenticate users and enforce tenant entitlements.
- Improve platform accuracy, reliability, and product quality.
- Build de-identified property analytics where permitted: valuation outcomes, comparable patterns, and market signals.
Marketing and contact sharing
Information you enter in the app is platform data of Next Generation Logic, L.P., except where the law of the state or province restricts a use, or you have refused a stated use. A CMA is usually not a client file. We do not treat it as one.
We may keep your name, email, and the property address you submit in NGL sales records, and we may share or sell that contact to third parties for marketing, where the law of the state or province permits. Those third parties may include real estate professionals such as licensed agents, lenders, and investors; home service companies; and, for renters, property managers and moving companies. That is a may, not a will. We do not do it where the law does not permit it. Consumer checkout states this above the payment button before you pay. This applies to purchases on our website only: we do not sell or share contact information collected in the NGL Tools iOS app, and in-app checkout says so.
You can opt out at any time. Use the Do Not Sell or Share page (no account needed), the Do Not Sell link on Profile, or email nextgenerationlogicngl@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect a report you bought. Account deletion is on Profile and on the Delete account page.
Phone calls and texts. We will not call or text you for marketing, or share your phone number with anyone who will, unless you give that consent separately, in writing, by checking a box that starts unchecked. That consent is never a condition of a purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to a text or by using the opt-out choices above.
Who we share data with
We share data only as needed to run the platform:
- Service providers: hosting, database, payment processing, email delivery, app notifications (Apple Push Notification service), address suggestions as you type a property address (Google Maps Platform), and licensed property-data providers who process data on our behalf under contract. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- Payment: card details go directly to our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.
- Your brokerage: if your access is sponsored by a brokerage, we may share usage and billing information with it.
- Legal: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the platform, our users, or the public.
- Business transfer: if NGL is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy continues to apply to it until amended with notice.
- Marketing recipients: we may share or sell contact information to third parties for marketing, including real estate professionals, home service companies, property managers, and moving companies, where state or provincial law permits, as described in Marketing and contact sharing above.
Property-owner skip-trace contact is a separate offering, described below, with its own opt-out.
Consumer purchases
A consumer report requires your name, a valid email address, and consent to generate the report. We do not run anonymous consumer reports. That email is how we deliver the report. The notice above the payment button tells you how your contact may be used, and you can opt out as described above. De-identified property facts from the run (normalized address, value band) may be retained as market data after your contact record is deleted, because they no longer identify you.
Third-party data sources
Valuations combine public records, licensed data feeds, and platform-derived analytics. Licensed vendor payloads are used to produce your report and are not republished as raw third-party data products. Derived outputs belong to the platform workflow you invoked.
How the platform uses artificial intelligence
The platform uses artificial intelligence, including large language models, to analyze the property data described in this policy and to draft report content. Your data is processed by these systems to produce the deliverables you request. We do not use your personal information to train general-purpose AI models, and AI providers processing platform data do so as service providers under contract.
Property owner and contact data (Land Pulse and Contact Tracer)
When you run a land or parcel search, the platform compiles, for each parcel, the owner of record, the tax mailing address, and parcel attributes. In the enriched tier it may also return a best-available business or personal contact (phone or email). This data is compiled from public county records, licensed parcel-data providers, publicly available web sources, and licensed third-party contact providers.
Active listings also show the listing agent’s name, phone, and email exactly as published on the listing. That is not skip-trace, is not geo-fenced, and is not billed as Contact Tracer.
We do not act as a consumer reporting agency, and this data is not assembled or furnished for any purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), including credit, tenant-screening, employment, or insurance decisions. It is provided solely to enable real-estate research and lawful, direct owner outreach by you. Contact details are leads, not verified fact, and are not guaranteed accurate or current.
You are responsible for lawful use of every name, address, phone, and email you receive, including compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), federal and state Do-Not-Call rules, CAN-SPAM, and state skip-trace and privacy laws. You will scrub numbers against Do-Not-Call registries, will not use an automatic dialing, prerecorded, ringless-voicemail, or mass-texting system to reach mobile numbers without prior express consent, and will honor all opt-out requests. The platform provides no dialing or texting capability.
A property owner may request suppression or removal of their contact information from platform outputs by emailing nextgenerationlogicngl@gmail.com. We suppress verified requests and carry the suppression into future runs.
Retention
Generated reports and their run records are kept for up to twenty-four (24) months from the date they are created, then deleted or de-identified. Consumer contact records in NGL sales records are kept for up to twenty-four (24) months, or until you ask us to delete them. When you opt out, we stop selling or sharing your contact and keep only what we need to honor the opt-out. Account profile data is kept for the life of your account plus ninety (90) days after termination. Billing and transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you buy a pack in the iPhone app, we keep a record of the Terms of Use version you accepted, your account ID, and the date. We keep that record after you delete your account so we can answer billing questions and Apple refund requests. De-identified property data that no longer identifies you may be kept longer as market data. We keep anything else longer only where a billing dispute or legal compliance requires it. Download links to reports are temporary and are re-issued automatically when you open the report in the app.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know and access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; receive your data in a portable format; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising; and appeal our decision on your request. States with these rights include California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We extend the same choices to every user, wherever they live.
How to make a request. Use your account settings, the Do Not Sell or Share page, or email nextgenerationlogicngl@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy Rights Request. We verify requests before acting on them and respond within 45 days, extended once where the law allows, and we tell you if we need the extension. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Appeals. If we decline your request, in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing nextgenerationlogicngl@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy Rights Appeal and your state. We respond to an appeal within 45 days and explain the reason for our decision. If we deny the appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal at consumer checkout, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information: your contact is marked do-not-sell and is not sold or shared, and the checkout says so. You can also opt out at any time through the Do Not Sell or Share page.
Sensitive data. We do not sell sensitive personal data, such as precise device location, health, or financial account information. We do not collect it for our products.
Signed-in runs tied to your user ID will be removed or de-identified per our data-retention schedule when you request deletion. NGL does not itself send you property solicitations based on your valuation inputs. Third parties who receive your contact under Marketing and contact sharing may contact you unless you opt out.
Property owner contact information and your opt-out rights
Some features of the platform provide the name, telephone number, and email address of a property owner (for example, land and off-market owner look-ups). Owner names and property records are drawn from public records; telephone and email information is obtained from third-party data providers. Because we make this contact information available to our subscribers for a fee, this activity may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under some state privacy laws. For the same reason, NGL may be a “data broker” under some state laws; where a state requires a data broker to register, NGL will register as that law requires.
You may opt out. If you are a property owner and do not want your contact information made available, you may request that we stop selling or sharing it and delete the contact record we hold. Submit a request through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or email nextgenerationlogicngl@gmail.com. You do not need an account. A request takes effect on our systems promptly and is confirmed within 15 days, and an authorized agent may submit it on your behalf.
State availability. We do not make the owner contact-information feature available for individuals who reside in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Vermont. Public property records may still be displayed.
Not a consumer reporting agency. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and this information is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Subscribers are contractually prohibited from using it for any FCRA-covered purpose, such as credit, insurance, employment, or tenant screening.
Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption, access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; report suspected issues to the contact below.
If a security incident affects your personal data, we will investigate, take corrective action, and notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law, using the contact information on your account.
International access
The platform is operated from the United States and is intended for use in connection with United States real estate. If you access it from outside the US, your data is processed and stored in the US.
Children
The platform is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or purchase a report. Account creation and checkout ask you to confirm that. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy with notice through the app or your registered email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
